It's air leaking from between my ears.

I fell asleep at the console and a loose nut pushed the wrong button and closed my Layers Pallet (I had disembarked from the pallet well). For the life of me I cannot remember how to get the silly thing to reappear.

If anyone would care to poke fun at em, please tell me how t fix this first, Okay?

Sincerely-

Depending on what version.. either A; go to view, or B; go to window.... and check it. ..... Hey, you think that's bad... once i was so tired, I couldn't remember how to turn the grid off. LOL....Lou.

Here is the tip about the palletes. When you want more space on the screen and you have many palletes open, you can hide them by pressing the SHIFT+TAB, press again and they will show up. If you want the hole screen to be youre working area, press F key twice and then press TAB. Its very cool mode to work, try to learn the shortcuts and you`ll not need the toolbar and palletes so much any more ;) Tihomir

I use PS7, so I dont now did they change something. Check again press SHIFT hold it and then press TAB (just punch it):) There is one more tip that I forgot to mention, when you are in full screen mode and you have multiple documents opened, there is no need to exit full screen every time you want to switch the document, just press CTRL+TAB combination. That way you can jump from one doc to another :) Tihomir

They must have, If I hit shift-tab, the OTHER pallettes "go away", but it leaves the tool pallette... NEAT! I never noticed.... toggle, toggle, toggle. Lou.

Try Alt+tab when multitasking between programs.

Thanx archdruid, and everyone else for your assistance and suggestions. Oh, and I have CS2.

Shortcuts? Remember shortcuts? I've got like 15 apps I use quite regularly, each with their own shortcuts, quirks etc... just like everyone else right?

I have a terminal case of CRS... ...so I do the best I can managing it.

Hey! You guys are great. Thanx again!

Joe

Oops, incomplete thought there...

With all the applications, and each one having different shortcut menus its hard to remember which ones do what.

CRS=Can't Remember Sh*t.

Sometimes I can't find my behind with both hands... ...call the wife to have her help look for it.

Last time I did she said (makes best Korean accent he can...)

"You loose a$$ long time ago! We move to Vegas baby, it go right here (pointing at my belly).

Ha! You loose mind long time be-pore we move Vegas!...

...sheep-poly-ma kay sicki... Tung-she-in pa-bo-ya!!!"

Basically put the last part says I'm a stupid son of a dog... ...in a nice way of course!

Lou if you want to minimize the toolbar, double click on the blue ribbon on the top of the toolbar and only that ribbon will stay visible. To go back, double click again :) Tihomir
