I've been looking at SNOW for weeks, here in the Rockies. Soooooooo, time for a WINTER haiku! 5-7-5, as with the autumn challenge.....pick up the last word of the posted haiku and make it the first word of your creation :) **** Season of Wonder Hearts filled with Peace,Joy and Love banish all sadness **** However you celebrate the coming days, Enjoy!

jewels of ice: festooned twigs glisten and glint, glittering sequence. Sorry, but I had to pun on sequins. ;^) In the Arabian Nights, those were the coins of the realm, although I can not imagine being paid 100,000 sequins, much less wearing my wealth! A traveling merchant seeing a web swaying in the breeze of a frosty morning might have thought of a sparkling dancer.

they melt just as they land there.
I still wish for more.


I really have no idea why I didn't start my Haiku with the last word of the previous post, as I was completely aware of the rules! I've even looked at every previous Haiku to see if one ended in 'see' and I made some sort of error that way. Ah well, just keep checking that syllable count...
