Yeah...I like this and love train tracks and trains. Going to work but have some for after. I almost did this myself Kort.... after seeing Marlene say I was rural...LOL, I wanted to show some of the more high tech.

Very nice! Great detail and shadow-play. The light in the windows makes it look alive! =]

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Snick snick?LMAO!I don't know why but that cracked me up! It does look like a giant RUSTY crab!No wonder it appealed to you,Kort.Great idea to do this.Cindy's Simone has some incredible shots and this one is already shaping up to be another good 'un.There are some really great shots here! Aw!Don't feel bad Andreas.I don't have anything to contribute here, either. But then I wouldn't have a misty sunset shot, either. ;^) And LOL at Doug wanting to prove it's NOT rural where he is.Sure it's not,Doug.I'm sure it's very very modern there, lol.Cowpie throwing is always done in modern, urban areas...LOL! ;^)

Link is to a photo I took last year called CRAZY TRAIN! @ Sheila - love the tones and that bit of hard light...adds drama (also like the lightning bolt on the side!) @ Kort...Wonder if that is a reference to Cherry Hill New Jersey??...its a 15 minute drive from home! Looks surreal! @ Christa - I like them rivots and the color....that thin red line cuts right thru the dark blue...kinda frames the image too! Geez cool x-tra train pics peeps! I got a bunch more at home!Attached Link: All Aboard!

Love it Kortalouche!Something about this type of image,(numbers, letters, graffiti) always appeals to me...Kind of like that 500 shot you did.Was it 500?It had a number...I look forward to seeing this finished and 'gallery-ready'. And don't hold off on my account, lol. :^)

I think it was red at one time, but we all know that red pigment is one of the least stable when exposed for long periods to the sun. But a pink train would be cool, all pimped out! ;]

I hope you don't mind Cyn, but I thought I'd start a new thread for those people that already posted train shots in your most excellent Simone but had more they wanted to share. I have to agree that your Simone really generated some awsome photos. I hope everyone has some more to share... Abandoned car by the Lake Placid Train Museum. I keep forgetting what kind it is, doh. It has pincers so I figured it was used to pick up railroad ties. I loved the rusty textures on it ((wink)). ;']Kort Kramer - Kramer Kreations
