I had indeed installed the latest DAZ studio version - but did not test it. Now it seems that none of my pose/morphs that are installed seem to function properly. Please do not tell me that they all need to be re-installed - for I just finished installing so many files. I would have never done this if I would have known this was the case - and if this is what needs to be done - I may go back to Poser for good...

There are, in fact, reported problems with morphs in the new D|S. I recommend filing a bug report, if only to show the urgence for a fix.

Thanks for the info - you know if there's no easy way to fix this - who is going to pay for all of the time wasted fixing this problem on all the DAZ user's machines with pre-installed content? Does anyone believe that they released software without testing it with pre-existing morphs? Are they f---ing kidding? A simple warning on their web site would have at least been the decent thing to do. I'm sorry to vent this on Renderosity's doorstep - but this goes beyond "bug" status in my book.

There is a chance that some buggy code was released into the not buggy end product, and those fixes usually come out to the community within a week or so. I'd say, give it time, and keep submitting bug reports.

Well, Upon further inspection, it seems as though random dials have been tweaked without my input, which I would consider something most would not desire. Especially in light of the fact that the old installation did not have these issues. This evening I spent 3 hours trying to determine if this was me or something else. Thanks all for the help.

Did you reinstall all your files? I know that the plugins had to be reinstalled - but I think that was all that had to be done in a standard install. As MorriganShadow said it really is important that you submit a bug report - just to show how many people are affected. The more affected the more urgent the the fix is

When you do a new install of D|S, you don't have to reinstall all of your content. Just run the D|S installer. It will uninstall the previous D|S version, and once installed will ask if you want to use your previous content settings. SAY YES. At this point, you do have to download and install updated versions of any plug-ins (Power Pose, D-Formers, etc.), but we've been promised this won't be necessary, once the SDK is finalized. I've not noticed the problem with poses and morphs, although I suppose it's probably related to certain characters and packages.

Yes, to certainly fair, there are problems with certain packages - that were not affected by the previous version. It seems that dials were tweaked by the new version without (to my limited knowledge) rhyme nor reason. I hope that if this issue is resolved - that the people at DAZ (they are very nice there I have to say) will make some sort of announcement. Also, I did use the DAZ uninstaller, which uninstalled the previous version of the program, and most of the functions seem to be intact ;-). Thank you so much for all of your support, now I can take the single bullet out of my revolver - but I still have the bags under my eyes - I guess there's a different cure for that!!!
