Hi all, not afraid to admit it but I am a complete noob to Daz studio, I did dabble with Poser 4 (+ the Propack) a few years back. This is where I am at, Downloaded Daz Studio and the Free Michael 3.0 Purchased the Body morph pack for Michael 3 Installed Both. Now I loaded in a Michael character to the scene (content, figures, daz people) Then I want to make him very muscular (body builder style) so i go to >content>poses>!M3 All Morphs INJ and I click on the muscular thumbnail, at this stage I would think my character should now look muscular but unfortunately he is still the same original character. Is this correct? (didnt poser just load in the morph) How do i get the controls on the morphs to appear in the parameters? I need to get really muscular arms and legs, inport into max, delete all but arms and legs and merge with my other model, (The max side I will manage no problem, just not au fait enough with Daz) I am totally lost, any help is appreciated Thanks, Tom

Hi, Tom! What the !M3 All Morphs INJ pose does is inject the dials/morphs into the character for you to create your character based on muscle groups. From there, you go into your Parameters tab, and you can move the dials to create the musculature on your character. hth! MS

Sounds as if you know you need to turn the dials but you aren't getting them - if that's so,. it may be that you are using the wrong figure: M3 BLANK won't take any morphs (it's there for developers, rather than as a usable figure) and Mike 3 to Mike 2 is a version set up to wear Michael 1/2 clothing, as a result of which it won't take Michael 3 body morphs (it will take the head morphs).

sorry for being such a muppet
Tom just out of curiosity, Is DAZ studio on a par with Poser or is it lower end or even higher end??

DAZ Studio has some nicer things in terms of straight forwardness. However, it doesn't have any of the fancy rendering, no rigging or dynamics, But hey, it's a baby and it's free!

No need to think outside the box....
