I just made a morph in Wings3D that smooths Posettes eyebrows without texture stretching.

Its a normal object, too lazy to make it an injection morph.
If you want to use it for my ValeriP4 hybrid, first apply it to Posette, save her to the library, and then transfer the morph to Valeri with MorphManager.

I have converted stahlratte's eyebrow morph to an INJ file for the LongFace channel in Posette's head. It is attached above (with stahlratte's permission).

Copy the the text from the link into a text editor and save it as "BrowSmooth.pz2" to a pose folder.

There is actually quite a lot for him out there, from the more obscure stuff like "Dorkerina", tons of face and body morphs including Superheroes, textures, Adavyss injection Dork, AprylYSHs remapped to M2 Dork, to Pitklads DOMUS, which will be coming out soon.

You just have to dig around a bit. ;-)
(Posetteforever is a good start)

Stahlratte, you have this way of making the P4 characters look so good ! :)

momodot ( ) posted Sun, 12 February 2006 at 4:34 PM

Stahlratte, that is a beautiful Dork face. Those are P4 textures? You made them yourself? I am gonna post a new thread asking if anyone would care to contribute a list of Poser 4 figure content links. I only know a couple. Happyland, Ghastly, I would have to think.

What a great MT.. Posette still has much to offer those with slower systems. Considering how old the mesh is, it's so frugal but renders really well. Thanks, Gerald.

ps.. This is about as big as she gets on my system!

mathman ( ) posted Sun, 12 February 2006 at 6:44 PM

momodot --- what is the "Ghastly" site ?

momodot ( ) posted Sun, 12 February 2006 at 6:50 PM

Ghastly -- http://209.92.41.204/Poser/downloads.html Some old P4 clothing. Some normal, some period, some fetish. Site is viewable in public and has no violence or overt sexual or nude imagery. her is my new thread. http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=2581140 :)

Hey Mathman, Your image looks great, is that default posette face at a deceptive cam angle, or is that morphed?

logansfury, I used Posette 2003 by Jim Burton, this was the default cam angle, and the default face. The texture is one of the gorgeous textures at HappyWorldLand.

logansfury ( ) posted Mon, 13 February 2006 at 1:43 AM

Thanks mathman! I had found that site year or more ago, was sure id dl'ed everything, couldnt find a single text on my HDs. Must have been part of the content lost in my most recent HD crash. I just made sure to dl those earlier this week. Yanno there are 99 of them there to dl? I know REALLY well now that there are 99 of them to dl. My fingers HURT lol! also, Jim Burton rocks! I need to seriously sit down with Posette 2003 and see how Mordikar's armors conform to her.... Logan

Gerald, Im discovering that for Poser6 extreme light settings, a low-poly figure like Posette works fantastic for me, and in incredible render times (at least in my computer comparing with the ones with V3)

A curiosity: Ive posted my last pic with stahl's new morphs in some sites, and a fellow in 'another website' wrote:

it's a good try, but it's one of those exercises where you end up thinking - really, what's the point? you're trying to make posette look like a kind of vicky... well, why not just USE vicky? ok, using posette's a technical challenge and all, and the postwork's nice, but you're really just plastering over posette's obvious imperfections here. no, she was a cute chick in her day, but her day has passed...

Of course, I don't answered him. I'm an old dog, so trollish comments don't bother me, but...

... HOW ANYONE CAN SAY 'HER DAY HAS PASSED' TO THIS CUTIE ??? (edited to add the $%& nudity tag) Message edited on: 02/16/2006 08:15

The victoria figures are not so great and victoria 3 has a lot of things wrong with it, probably more than possette.

mathman ( ) posted Thu, 16 February 2006 at 2:26 PM

Posette's wonderful in her own right. Whoever said we were trying to make her like Victoria ??? ... I'd say that guy in that other website is full of "the brown stuff" (:

hrm.... I can't get the download page to load :( and it was such a nice looking morph ..
