Hi there all, :o) I'm new to this forum altho I've been on R'osity for a couple of years in others. Anyway, I'm having a stupid problem and I'm clueless. ;o) I'm using Photoshop CS (v8.0). I have it both at work and at home. I've recently been starting to experiment with paths and using them to make, basically, lines. At work, I can use the pen tool and click for the start and stop points, add points where I need them, move the path around, then use the stroke function and fill just the line. It's that simple. Well, using the very same program at home and trying to do the same then, as soon as I add the first point and move it, the silly thing closes the start/stop points and fills the selection. Now, frankly I don't remember it ever doing this at work and if it did, I don't remember adjusting any settings. Thinking that's what's needed to fix it, I've been looking thru everything I can find but I can't find anything that will keep it from doing this. I'm trying to simply draw lines that have multiple "waves" in them and this fill thing is getting quite irritation! ;o) Can someone tell me how to fix this? Please? Pretty please?? :o) Susan
