Not really a big deal. You can do anything you want with the output.Selling the program (or trying to) would be against the license (and incredibly tacky).
It all boils down to what you know. If you visit this forum and other similar ones, you know that Arbaro can do exactly that. If you'd rather troll the content sites, purchase what you need and create a quiltwork of others peoples stuff, then that's possible too, without ever being the wiser. I was (and still am somewhat) a patchwork quilt maker. I do a little of both (my own modeling and purchase content). I tooled around with 3D apps for years before ever even bothering to visit forums like 'rosity. And even after I joined here, I didn't start posting 'till a couple of years ago. I find this subculture of ours to be very diverse in skills and knowledge.

Caution: just a hobbyist

afaik, haynes is a respected member of the daz community, so i wouldn't expect him to pull this kinda crap. and according to his own words, they're tinkered-with. i'd trust him. all the same, yeah, i wouldn't know what to say in regards to selling something off free software. it's a lot like selling mats and skies off bryce, when you haven't really started from scratch, as it were, but randomized dte's. shrug drac
In fairness there could be good reasons for buying ready-made output from Arbaro. The prog is a beta and can be tricksy -- it flubs up my OpenGL for some reason and I have to do a restart after running Arbaro, or other 3D apps do strange things. If people don't want that minor hassle, then they can just buy the trees off the Daz shelf.
Still, it should be known that you can get the stuff for free if it's available. Atomic_Anvil seemed pleased :)

Agreed, just like most bought content, not everybody has the time to make or to learn how to use the tools to generate everything they need.
The really good thing about OSS, is that you can modify/add to it (if so inclined) to get just what you want out of it.

@Atomic_Anvil- There's another great freeware Java-based treemaking app called POVtree. Here's a thread some time back discussing the app and showing some examples of its output. http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=2229655 It only exports in POV .inc format, but there are at least 3 freeware 3D file convertors that can change them into .obj or 3ds files. Saw this message at the above link...QUOTE "Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks as if someone has exported, textured and rendered some arbaro trees (straight out of the provided samples, no less) and are selling them for $20 US... see here:

Not sure if this can be construed as a violation of the licensing, but the least they could have done is credited your work... " END QUOTE
NOTE: Arbaro is a free (GNU) program with lots of inluded samples and OBJ/DXF export.
