Sorry to hear this. I'd like to suggest that you check his support website (link attached). In the Hub forum, you'll see that 2 others have same problem, but Howard seems to be having problems trying to recreate the same symptoms. Adding your scenario to the mix may help to tip the balance. Remember Howard is on UK time, so act quickly if you want him to see it tonite. What good is the Hub for anyway? I never use it. I just start up PBooost (2) together with Poser... What am I missing here? :o)

The Hub lets you run all Hogsoft programs from one small "stub" program, which remains loaded all the time. (This is one reason why PBII loads/unloads as usual, unlike PB v1.) It makes it much easier to run things like QuickMat. And with PBII you can switch banks directlyt from the Hub. (Also it is part of the P4PyE Python alternate, that supports plain old P4.)
Thing is.. my hub isn't loaded at startup.. and I'm not sure why. I know I F9'ed it because it annoys me that it's sitting there visible instead of in the tray, but... I've grouped my banks and I find it very easy to change them from PB2... Then again, I also use it for browsing my files, because I can't always remember where I've put what G I do LOVE the "doubleclick something and it loads into Poser" though :o) Wouldn't miss THAT one for the world now. And the best part is, you don't even have to actually switch to that bank :o)

Hmm... Move files from one HD to another? I have all of my Poser installations (Pro Pack, 5 and 6 on my P drive... so I'm not sure where I sould attempt to move them to? I'm not even sure how I could test it without installing Poser on another drive? Or am I missing the point here? :o)

Here is what I have: Used the original version of PB (1.3). With it I created my banks and moved them from my D drive, where Poser is installed, to my C drive, where I set up a special folder for them. Now, with PB 1.3, it allows me to look at different drives for "Pboost Content". If I need to I can even bring in stuff from my external drive. So far I haven't found away for PBII to do it except by opening two PB windows and dragging stuff around. Very cumbersome and ineffective in my opinion. The reason I do that is to keep my HD's under control. Stuff I don't use that often is one one drive and the stuff I use consently is in my Poser runtime on the other drive. Am I making any sense or confusing you?
I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.
No I see what you mean now. I'm just not sure how I can check for it as all my Poser content is on my P: :o( Sorry

Hi all... just saw this thread! Yep, I've put an SR for the Hub in the Hub forum at hogsoft. Now you can use the PBooost II remote control if it wasn't working before:) On moving content between runtimes: Whether the content is on different drives or just in many runtimes on a single drive, you can drag files from one PBooost window to another, or cut/copy in one and paste in the other. I've done away with the 1.4 "browse pane" as people told me it was clunky!!:) Poser nowadays is a milti-runtime enviroment and the new systems of PBooost II respect this carefully... so it made sense to have different runtimes open in different windows. I suppose that this is less effective if screen real-estate is limited. I hope you can ease into the new system:) H:))

Great program, I have been using it ever since version 1.4 came out. Now, I decided to upgrade to PBoost II and... Well, as it turned out the "hub" that is installed at the same time with the program doesn't see PBoost!!! The option on the bar is grayed out bearing the inscription "PBoost not installed"...!!!!!!!!!!!!! On the other hand, QuickMat that I installed afterwards appeared immediately on the Hub menu!!!!!.......... Trouble is that without the hub there is no point using PBoost as it is not very practical to call it up when you are working in Poser. I sent an IM last night to Hogsoft, followed by an e-mail this morning, explaining the situation, but have received no answer so far (Which is not so good for a customer in need of immediate support)... By the way, my old version is still functioning, and I have no idea if I should uninstall it.... I'm getting slowly annoyed........... I would greatly appreciate any hint or idea on what might have gone wrong... --Panos
