Soon aircrafts in Poser will have a place to be and will become usefull. :-) Nearly done. Thinking in about a week or two. All I have to do is texture now. Fixed a lot of errors.

Finally done the UVMapping. Did a quick texture test, to see if any is out of line. Now to make textures like in image in Post#1. Really difficult to get good camera angles, while trying to get everything in one render. I did my best. Will make good cameras angles as well.

Robo; Any chance that the runway number is going to be a separate texture? It would make it easier change to avoid getting caught by those who know that the runway number is also the compass heading.... Oh, and you -might- want to consider putting a line of blast deflectors in front of the section of tarmac where the taxiway crosses in front of the hangars (pretty much required with the advent of military jet engines). You can't do a full powered run up with the exhaust pointed at the hangars or to the sides, as there would be support buildings, so the only relatively safe direction you can do it is tail first towards the runways..

"Any chance that the runway number is going to be a separate texture?" Yes, the number can be a separate texture. Can use one of the texture plates ahead of the number instead. That will be up to the persons. Their will be texture nods in the material room to change easy. Their is about 40 texture plates on the runway alone. That is including the numbers and both runway ends. As for part two. I have never heard of blast deflectors in front of the section of tarmac where the taxiway crosses in front of the hangers. I have known that their are deflectors on the runway for carrier training purposes. But I am not going to bother with deflectors at the moment. They can be easily made. I need more info what your writing about. I am no pilot to really know about deflectors on a taxilane. Only from what I know on my own, and also a virtual pilot on the PC. hehe :-) Their will be additions later. I just want to get this project that took about a year to make done for now. I am making parking and merger lanes textures for the parking areas. That is going to be challenging. Also their will be night lights with the airbase. That is not a problem. Only time consuming. Been thinking about making a aircraft carrier.

Wow!... one of the most difficult part of the Airbase, is making a corner texture. This is the north Taxi Corner. I found out a whole new technique in UVmapping. Took over an hour to map. But it came through so nice. Now to do the south tomorrow. Ah..can see lines from the render. Looks like scratches.
