It comes with documentaion on how to install. As far as usage, they are eco-system materials. Very easy to use. Yes I am happy with the purchase! It's downloadable - once your payment clears. Don't do animation, so can't say.

Sorry, you are right - I have Ecowear on my brain. All of Moonsoons's stuff is great and I am sure that it will have documentation and all items for 3Dcommune are downloadable.

Heya folks... LMclean, SeaVue is a way to 'paint' 3d seascapes with materials and objects and just as in painting, motion and surf structure is often 'suggested' rather than built. So it's strictly for still pictures not animations. I imagine some of the water mats could animate but as I am not into that corner of our craft, I cannot say. But, as our friends here do say, it is really easy to use and get the hang of. SpaceGfx, I'm afraid I'm not much of a merchant as I haven't built any splashy banners or anything and so some folks have said it's hard to find at the Commune. It's not. In the store search type 'Monsoon' and on the seascape pic click 'Vue d'Esprit mats' and there you go. Happy SeaVue users, SeaVue II...the Deep is coming soon and a preview can be seen at the link. Have a good one, MAll Monsoon's products for Vue can be highly recommended, from my own experience - and he keeps turning out new ones, seems like every month!

Hmmm...no, not right off the bat. Is this the only material that is stubborn? I just tried it on mine and it was fine so it can't be a version issue. Make sure it's the only one. If it is, I'll send you a resaved and imbedded one to replace it. If you have more than one, write back and list them please. Thanks.... M
Monsoon, I tried all of the SeaVue materials and there's actually quite a few that don't work. I created a mixed material and I was using the SeaVue material as the second material. The materials were being applied to a procedural terrain. I also for a test tried a Vue material from each category and they seemed to work fine. I am using Vue Infinite build 5.09-02 Build 280618 and did a manual install and have had no problems with it. These are the materials that gave me the "Unable to read file etc." message. It is quite random as you'll notice only whalewave 3 gave me a problem not whalewave or whalewave 2. Thank you for looking into this. Monsoon, I have sent you my email address. I appreciate you sending me the new files. What's whalemail? is that like snail mail? If you could email the files or put them on a server that would be better for me so I can get them quicker and finish my project. Just trying to understand this. - Just curious why saving in version 5.09 will help? Is there something I can try to fix this? - Do you know what "unable to read file" means? Does it mean Vue can't find the folder or what? I am on a mac may that have something to do with it? Thanks Lorne
You're on a Mac. Well...that could be half the trouble there lol..... Don't worry...jje had this issue too. Couldn't figure out why but a second helping resaved worked. Vue is so wierd sometimes and sometimes there is no reasoning why.... Why would saving in 5.09 help? Because I built SeaVue in Vue 4. So resaving saves with all the current quirks :)and makes it better. Whale mail is like...whale mail. You can send huge stuff. Again, don't worry. Once you get the notice all you have to do is download it. Real quick. As my email back to you states though...that won't be till 1 pm tomorrow when I go back to work. (I only have dialup at home). Also if anyone else out there needs a fresh copy..let me know. See ya tomorrow Lorne..... M
Monsoon you rock, Thank you for getting on this so quick. I was in a hurry for these materials and you delivered. Now I only had a chance to test the Rapids.mat and it worked fine. I have been unusually busy the last 2 days, but I will try the rest of the mat's as soon as I can free up some time. Let me just say Monsoon provides an excellent product in SeaVue and Great customer service to back it up. I would highly recommend this product!

I am considering buying Monsoon's Sea Vue, but I had some questions for those who already own it. 1. Does Sea Vue come with any documentation on how to use it? I know there are the odd tutorial around, but I am concerended I wil buy this and not know how to use it. 2. Are you happy with Sea Vue? 3. Is it downloadable, or just snail mail? 4. Finally, can Sea Vue be animated?
