Wow! Very cool stuff! I like the color in the first and the focus is interesting, but the second has to be my fav. The color is awsome and that drop you captured is just perfect. I wouldn't trash either of them. :)

Oops!! We crossed....guess I should have waited. lol Now the third is a perfect drop. Those three little balls of liquid are fascinating!! The last one looks like liquide metal. Very cool!!

I like all except the first one, and that's only because it's front-focused. I like the color, though. Be careful mixing unknown chemicals, unless you like taking pictures of explosions. :-)

Okay, once more.....that last one has beautiful colors!! Love it!! I don't even have the patience to try this....also, my cam probably wouldn't like it much. I haven't even tried my new light box yet. I am afraid to get crappy pics because I don't have regular lights....I'm going to have to use two reading lights and a flashlight. LOL Anyway, you have done an excellent job here Andreas. I'm glad you shared them. The liquid and colors......excellent. :)

Oh wow those are some awesome shots. Number 6 looks like it has rocket boosters. I'd say number 3 is my fave... gotta love the color.

Infact, i even enabled the built-in ND filter as a way to try and minimize the blown highlights. And dont feel bad about the lightbox either....i was ranting like a maniac about getting one....and i got mine 4 weeks ago....still havent tried it, LOL. #:oP

4, 5, 6, are my favorites....you are so good with this...love the WARM colours a real joy for my eyes......GORGEOUS !!!

I can't pick a fav here...they are all way too good. I do like #3 a lot. The colour on post 17 with that ripple is just wicked. Love that. Sigh ....ok back to ducks. I was getting a few more ready to post. Got a Bernese for a week, so maybe he will provide some action shots.

Andreas, you really SHOULD be careful mixing unknown chemicals! I'd also be leery of taking pics like this at work! I would think there are other Technicians/personnel there and they would wonder what you're up to! Also, if there are security cameras, (like many facilities have), you may have been caught on tape! (I certainly hope not!) Anyways the bottles in 1 & 2 are called a "flask" as Doug mentioned. Cool drop shots...hopefully worth the risk you took!

Each one has something wonderful about it,I can see why you would have difficulty deciding which to go with.So I guess I'll just tell you my favorites.Of them all,I like nos.2,3,8 and 17 best. I particularly like the beaker with the purple fluid in number 2;I think it's cool the way you captured the drop inside of it...and that color is beautiful... The surface of three is fabulous,as is the color. Number 8 is gorgeous.Again,the color is what does it for me...but also I like that kind of drop... And 17 has that wow/cool factor going for it.The repeating circles,that silvery surface and the cool-looking drop of water suspended like that,make it very eye-catching compositionally. Hope this helps.I can't imagine taking so many great ones I couldn't choose.You have become very adept at this!Congrats! And may I add...please be careful.No shot is worth losing your job...or blowing yourself up for goodness sake!-M :^)

All are very, very nice! Was wondering what shutter speeds are you using? What camera/equipment setup as well... Are those colors from post work? Thanks!

The colors in 6 and 17 are original. The others were originally a yellow substance of some kind and i later changed the colors of those in Photoshop. Although i also changed the whitebalance in my camera. Camera i used is my Canon Powershot Pro1, a compact with built-in flash. No extra lights or anything, just the flash at a shutterspeed of 3200. I also activated the built-in ND-filter to get less blown highlights.

Burst mode. My cam is able to take 3 shots per second.
