Who takes care of tech support for this program? I have installed and uninstalled it 3 times and everytime I click on the shortcut it tries to install outlook, wth is going on here???? I have installed the SR from his site. There is something seriously wrong here. I have scanned my system with nortons and with spybot, comes up clean. I need to get this dealt with. Marque

Have you tried deleting the shortcut that was created, going to where UTC was installed, creating a shortcut there, then moving it wherever you need it?

I just bought the original from daz again and installed it and it tries to install outlook 2002. Something is WRONG with this program. Has anyone else had this happen??? Marque

I've installed it without any problem and I don't have Outlook installed on my computer, nor did it try to install Outlook. What OS are you using?

Win XP pro. Just tried it again uninstalled and restarted. Stopped norton and reinstalled. Still doing it. Marque

Went to the folder and started it from there, not the shortcut, still does it. Tries to install outlook and after canceling it 3 times it opens the utc program. Marque

I have the same problem, but it is a different program that it tries to install, it might be a bug in windows xp pro.

This is probably happening because of a feature of newer Windows installers called "Advertising".
Something that the program refers to (or the installer thinks it refers to) is an advertised feature that only gets installed when first requested by something.

Grrrrrrrrrr. At least I'm not the only one, felt like I was going crazy here. O.o Marque

Does anyone know how to fix it?

There's a neat little feature of Windows XP where it saves the install files into the Temp folders, clean them out & reboot before you try to install again.

Windows 7 64Bit
Poser Pro 2010 SR1

Thank you! Will try that. I un-installed utc and all my lockups on my computer stopped so I've hesitated to install it again. Marque
