Here's a python script that might help. It memorizes the actual location of the feet, then moves the figure (after posing) so that the feet go back where they were before. My python page

When a pose file moves the location of a character it usually does it by translating the hip actor. Try this solution, with the character in the location you want it in, select the hip and do Ctrl+C (or "Copy" from the Edit menu). Paste the results into Notepad, you should get something that looks similar to this:
Hip 0 taper Spline 0.0000<br></br>Hip 0 scale Spline 1.0000<br></br>Hip 0 xScale Spline 1.0000<br></br>Hip 0 yScale Spline 1.0000<br></br>Hip 0 zScale Spline 1.0000<br></br>Hip 0 yrot Spline 0.0000<br></br>Hip 0 zrot Spline 0.0000<br></br>Hip 0 xrot Spline 0.0000<br></br>
Copy the last three lines, the ones shown in red above, to the clipboard. Apply the pose. Now with the hip selected, paste from the clipboard (Ctrl+V). The hip should return to its previous location.
It was the 1st reply. Many thanks to all. I have a habit of, when wanting to move an entire charactor selecting their hip to do so. I've also been working with Angelynas Wings & that habit is selecting the wing base to position it, apply a pose and I would have to repostion the wings to the figures back again. :( When applying a pose I now make sure "Body" is selected. This did the trick. :) Thankyou All!!! :) Scott

Changing poses moves the postion of my figure? Moves it to another spot in the scene. Is there a way to keep the position when changing poses? Many Thanks. Scott
