Subject: Arwen's Crown

I have been looking for a crown similar to what Arwen wore as part of her wedding ensemble, but haven't been able to find anything remotely similar. Some of the textures for the Morphing Fantasy Mask are nice, but they don't come even close to the actual crown that she wore. Arwen Crown Arwen Crown 2 Arwen Crown 3 Arwen Crown 4 Arwen Crown 5 NOTE: Sorry I had to delete the other post as the site didn't allow "hot linking" and told me to place the images on my own server....so I did :)

Hi, I need to know what hair you would like it for so I can set up the basic size when modeling. I have most, but not all of them. I havn't tried anything this complex, however I may (no promises) be able to do something. Richard

british_bob mentioned that it would probably be better to model it in pieces, kind of like bricks that are pieced together and interlock. This way it can be assembled in various ways to give more versatility and to eliminate the need to have it made for one particular hair type. Unfortunately he's extremely busy and doesn't know when or if he will be able to get to it. What are your thoughts on it being modelled in pieces? If it has to be made for one particular hair, I'd have to give it some thought. There are a number that I really like, but not all are "elf-like".

First thoughts are for a single final piece, as once the basics parts are done (front, siudes/rear?)it shouldn't be too hard to put them together in slightly different forms before exporting them for Poserising. I see approx 1/2 dozen models for different hairs. Kozaburo Hair is free so that should make it avialable to just about anybody, although I think the styles are a bit modern. 3Dream Diva Hair looks good as does some of the HMann Hair. Might start with the 3Dream Diva hair and see how it goes.
