That is so odd. I have never seen that happen. Could it be jumping from P4 mat to P6 mat by default. Are you starting with a P6 MAT? Only thing I can think of.

The coloring was originally created in P4 and then I saved the character as a scene file. When I open the scene file in Poser 6, the character renders correctly. The color only changes when I go into the Material Room and select the character (by accident or on purpose). If I select another figure (such as the clothing), go into the Material Room, and recolor the clothing, the character's materials remain correct. --John

I beleive it is the saved P4 MAT that is the problem. When you enter the Material room, it has to convert the avaiable information to nodes. I guess that is what is causing your trouble. Just save a corrected P6 material version.
