IT'S ME AGAIN ^_^ :D
If the hair is conforming or just a .hr2 prop (not dynamic that is) you can simply parent it to Apollo's head, without using James at all. To do that load the hair and fit it on XYZ scale and translations to Apollo. After that parent it to Apollo's head via Object: Change Parent menu. After that you can pose Apollo the way you want and the hair will follow.
At least it is the way it would work on people in Poser 5.
Hope this time I am helpful...

If it's conforming hair, go to Figure>Set Figure Parent and choose Apollo's head. If it's prop hair (loaded from the hair library) then get it into position and go to Object>Change Parent and again select Apollo's head.

Hey there. -Start with a blank scene. -Load Apollo's ScalpBeard. Position and parent the hair to that and save the figue back into the library. -You can make the scalpBeard invisible if you want. Now you have a conforming version. Cheers, Anton

Well, I thought this would be easy, but I'm having problems parenting the hair to the scalp piece. I get the hair positioned where I want it and go to Object->Change Parent->Choose the Scalp Hair and nothing happens. I've not done this before, so there's probably a simple step I'm missing. What is it? Bryan
If the hair is a hr2 or prop, just double click on it and then click on "Set parent". The way you are doing is is just to parent one figure to another. They both would have to be cr2s.

Ok, I'm using some James hair on Apollo. I'm wondering if there is a way to trick it into thinking its conformed to the figure. Right now I've got an invisible James head lined up with Apollo, but that won't work in the long run. I'm just curious about ways to keep x,y,z trans positions after I've moved the character to another pose. Thanks in advance. Bryan
