Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 10 1:16 pm)
How did you learn Vue? I just played with the different features until I had an idea of what they did. Dr. Geep has lots of tutorials here - search for Geep. Depending what you want to do - read the manual - ask specific questions here. Good luck - it's a complex program that takes a long time to learn all of it's features but take small bites IMHO works best.
The important thing is not to stop questioning.

It depends on how well you learn from trial and error. For me I need a structured and organized way to learn, which means that I can't learning anything from trial and error, unless it's life lessons :P.

angry with our critics but will take in good
heart whatever they might have to
say." - Ghandi

Some of Dr. Geep's tutorials can be found here. The "Basic Poser" section would be a good place to start. -jjsempAttached Link: Poser 6 Revealed
"Poser 6 Revealed" is the manual that the program should come with. It's well worth the $25 cost. It walks you step by step throgh the process of using Poser and gets you up and running quickly. -jjsempI gave up on Poser several times in two years then finally a light went off and I actually had the courage to post something...that's back when I was working with Koshini, I thought she and Ichiro were the only models I could "understand" enough to use and thought I'd be stuck with it forever. The tutorials here helped, but the free stuff is where I really learned, I would see how what made it do A and how I could then use that applied task to get B. I didn't post my first thing until 2002 and have been taking baby steps...but stuff is coming out more and more the way I think it will when I start...sometimes dare I say it even better. Persistance and Patience!
