I posted this yesterday and it's disappeared!!!!!???????? have no idea why I wanted to know which was the best babies to get i have the poser baby but wondered if the millenium baby or the cubed babies were a better bet it doesn't matter whether they are male or female i just want a cute baby maybe some good morphs for poser 4 i'm skint so price is a big factor in my choice thanks

I like the P4 Infants because they are lightweight on my computer processor.  Not very realistic.  Fine for fantasy and cartoony things.

I got the Millennium Baby, but he/she is a little bit of an ugly one.  Got some third-party non-DAZ commercial and free items for that one.  Ugly.  There, I said it again.

Succumbed to getting the Millennium 3 Baby.  Nice and sweet faces with morph sets and poses.  Not very much more in terms of attire and such.  Best for realistic type renders.

Since you've answered your own question, the only thing I can see is that you simply want us to confirm your decision for you.  The other babies cost money, the 'Devil's Spawn' is free.  In your situation, what more do you need to know.  There is no 'BEST,' each figure is a compromise between price, versatility, and resource demand.  Higher vesatility means higher density mesh, means more resource demand.  Less resource demand means a lower density mesh, with less versatity; and ONLY YOU can decide where your priorities lie. 
For myself, I'm happy with the P4 figures, especially the Eve 4 version of Posette.  I wouldn't touch the Millenium figures with a ten foot pole.  But then my computer is a six year old Pentium 3 (and thankfully still going strong). 
I worked for a while with the Free Aiko 3 figure, which in my opinion is much superior to the Vickies, but I had to abandon her eventually because of the difficulties in rendering her high density  mesh.  That's when I refell in love with Posette.  Since leaving the DAZ figures with their frivilous resource demands behind, I've never looked back.
If you look carefully through Freestuff, you'll find both textures and 'cutie' morphs for the P4 Baby, you just need to DIG alittle.
In a nutshell, to sum the situation up, and as my Dad used to say: "You pays your money, and you takes your choice!"

thanks randy i thought something weird was going on or it had been deleted for causing offence thanks infinity for your feedback, an ugly baby just doesn't work does it? i didn't realise there was more than 1 millenium baby! thanks dph have downloaded the texture will try out later, i do have problems with poser running slowly. If i had the money i'd buy both and see which was best (for me). i have found some morphs for p4 baby. i wanna get the preschool kids next, so maybe i should get them next and experiment more with the morphs i've got maybe have a go at making some morphs myself. was kinda hoping someone had tried the cubed the animation looks so cute thanks again everyone for your help x

I like the original millennium baby. 

The new millennium baby  is advertised as a "baby", but in fact it's a very  ugly toddler.  Sorry Moms...but it's a falsey that all babies are "cute"   :blink:
