As the title says, saw many, many references to it in other products and liked what I saw, but no longer in the marketplace. Anyone know where to obtain it?

Nope. It's a character/texture for V3. A very good one, too.

FYI, it's by Orion1167 and Greybro.  I bought it 02/02/04.

Perhaps you could IM the merchants and ask if they can make it available.

What makes it different is that there are separate pieces of skin for the joints, so that, when knees of your model are bent, that patch of skin gives the impression the skin has really been stretched. Which is good for close-ups.

Not to put TOO fine a point on the issue, BUT as far as I know, Torino, Hellborn, and Traveler worked on the Eve version of Posette, not on any parmutation of Vickie.  Somebody is being misled here.
Below id the ReadMe that comes with Eve 4, notice the credits:
NO OTHER VERSION OF EVE IS NEEDED FOR THIS VERSION!

You will need Maz's mover utility to decode the .obj file.
The seed is the P4 fem.

-Credits: Torino for making Evolution, Hellborn for making
the Gen, Steve Cox UV mapper, Storm for the Thigh joint fix,
Nance for mapping suggestions, MASA for all of the breast morph
conversions, BBay.com for hosting the files knowing the
bandwith they will chew ;)  Dream_avatar for the awesome eye
textures I used as a base for the new mapping, and loads of other
people for making suggestions along the way!

New Features:

-New Mapping so that she can take normal P4 Fem maps for her skin, etc. No more moving
things around. Most of the genital area has been moved back to the hip, so that
you don't get the weird mapping problems with pubic hair as before.
-The Real eyes have been made a part of the figure mesh, and have
 been re-mapped to take normal eye textures.
-She comes pre-loaded with a massive ammount of morphs. (With more on the way)
-Lashes have been given their own map for better trans mapping.
-Genitalia have their own map as well.
-Storm Suggested a buttock joint fix awhile back, and that was added as well.

I was just using Orion1167's Evolution Eve today. I bought when it first came out. Surprised that it's not in the MP anymore. His Trinity  character does the same thing. Different maps for movement.

Eve may have been revamped and renamed. I see that happening a lot these days.

no, I was wrong, the first eve is not the one they want. I don't have redistribution rights for the old one, nor for the new one they're looking for, the one by greybro et al. the read-me for the old file also contains no redistribution clause of any kind, so we'd need permission there, as well.

hoadley, regarding that purr3d site, is momcat in contact with torino and hellborn in some manner? if so, she might wanna get the full morph package from them, or from eric.

I don't know, but she's a moderator over at 'rotica; you can IM her there and clarify this point.

With items that are Copyright, then any right not specifically granted (by licence or provisions within the Copyright legislation) is forbidden.
(Re)distribution is one of the rights that must be explicitly granted.

Only if the the item under question has been specifically stated in its ReadMe as being under copywrite.  Otherwise it's free and open territory!

my guess is that momcat is familiar with the law and she must have got permission to redistribute them. eric's new site says that old freebies from his prior site can be redistributed, although I don't know if he actually hosted the files in question.

There is NOTHING in the Eve 4 ReadMe stating otherwise, so WHY is this even an issue?  I truly do not understand what is going on here.

Being wrong about what is Copyrighted (everything is unless specifically placed in the "Public Domain") and what you are allowed to do with Copyrighted material causes all sorts of trouble.

A visit to the Copyright Laws and Ethical Standards forum, and some of the links that forum's header (e.g. dreamsosweet's Copyright Article) is recommended.

yeah, hoad - you'd be well advised to check with the copyright experts on the issues involved here. I'm not a lawyer, nor an expert, but they've been able to explain the "public domain" fallacy pretty well. in this case I believe that momcat wouldn't have posted them if she didn't have permission - she probably knows hellborn, although I dunno what happened to torino.

This is completely untrue. Please don't give advice on Copyright, no matter how well-intentioned, that could lead to someone else being pursued for copyright violation.
