I doubt it would hurt anything. My Photoshop downloads are in subfolders in a totally different folder on my desktop & they work fine.

one of the things that used to drive me crazy was you couldn't easily rearrange your brushes, you could create a "new" brush set but that is rather painstaking method when you have LOTS of brushes!
Well, now there IS a way to easily rearranging brushes, but the process is not to obvious:
There you go! at last we can move brushes around.

is it possible to create sub folders in the brush preset folder so that i can move some of my brushes into it then access them in the preset mannager
