If the shoe has a corresponding body part with the figure (left shin figure=left shin shoe) scaling that body part by the same amount as on the figure will do the trick.
So if you increase the yscale on the figure's shins to 110%, then selecting the shins for the shoes and increasing yscale to 110% will line them up the same as if they were both at 100%.
The other option would be to save the figure with the rescaled legs, import the .obj for the shoes, position it where they should be, and take the shoes into the Setup Room, loading the bones for the rescaled figure, and go back to the Pose Room. That should work fine, although it's more complex depending on how you scaled the character's legs.

Thanks... the first option worked, sort of. It does get the shoes better aligned with the feet, and with a bit of additional tweaking I was able to fit them. It also may explain why shoes which rise up only to the ankles have shin and thigh body parts. Nonetheless, conforming clothing leaves a lot to be desired, as it rarely changes to match the morphs and alterations I make to the character.

The clothing has to have the corresponding morphs as the character for it to match. If you dial up a muscular morph and the clothing doesn't have that muscular morph then there is no way for it match the character. If the clothing doesn't have the morph you need you can use magnets to adjust the clothing.

Unlike parented shoe props which easily move with a character's legs when they are elongated or shortened, conforming figure shoes don't adjust along with scale adjustments. Is there a relatively painless way to make sure conforming shoes (especially those which load as pairs) can be made to stay conformed when the character's legs are adjusted?
