Subject: problems with hypervue

Alright, I am trying to render a single frame with a network farm of 3 comps I set up.  Now when I set up hypervue with 3 systems it splits it in 16 tiles which is all fine but most of the times my main computer fails to send off textures to other systems.  It gives me a error that it failed sending texture such and such from temp folder in vue DIR somewhere and asks me to manualy load it "yes" "no" or cancel. Thing is I can't even find that texture on the system.  Now this happens randomly which is the weirdest thing.  I sometimes hit render and textures go through fine but then for next tile or for another render it gives me error even though I haven't changed anything.  Please help, this problem has drive me nuts.

Never had this problem, I had a problem with "sending textures", which never reached my other computer, and kept repeating "sending scene, sending textures". But not yours.

have you updated to 5.10 yet? Maybe it can solve this particular bug.

I haven't tried network rendering with 5.10 yet, so I can't tell if things go smoother.

I have had the 'sending textures' freeze as well - does 5.10 fix this problem?  I would like to utilize the hypervue as I have a network of 5 pcs that i can use - but i wont use this at the moment coz it has not been very reliable.

I would if it was - maybe 5.10 changes this?

Well, I'm going away for a few days, so it looks like you'll have to do the test, Grayhem! Lol!
