YAAAAAY!!! So i finally got me a macro lens. A Tamron 90mm to be precise. I bought it used (mint condition) from E-bay and by doing so it only costed me half the price. So anyhoo...i went out to take some test-shots...only to find out that my cam was almost out of power. But i manged to take a few at least, and so far i think it´s amazing! Alot sharper than any of the Sigma´s i have.

This little caterpillar is about 1" big....and it´s mouthing off at me. :glare: Was really windy so it kept swinging back and forth on that leaf it was sitting on so the focus could have been better.

Wow Andreas!They're excellent.That looks like some great lil lens ya got there.

My eyes must really stink,though,because I can't see how much sharper the top one could get.It looks plenty sharp to me.

Thank you! That one looks alot like mine by the way, only "mine" was yellow. Sweet macro my friend. Yup, DSLR´s sure have their benefits when it comes to swopping...swoping...swapping...sigh...lenses for different purposes.

Really nice shot on the caterpillar.   Glad to hear you like the Tamron 90 macro as that is one of the Macro lens I am looking at.

I could even count the hair i i wanted. I´m sure the Sigma is great. I was deciding between either the Tamron, Tokina AT-X 100mm or the Sigma EX 105....but i got the best price for the Tamron.
