It looks great Mike! And oh hey, what a nice-looking fence you've got there...reminds me of a porch fence back home... grin Last time I did some lamps like these, I made the glass frosted, which helped diffuse the light. Looked real good; they were the globe lamps from Baument. Not sure if frosting the glass on this style would look suitable, but heck, it's worth a try. Thanks for the gift! :)
Varian just knows that I vamped his mod bull from the freebies. I think of him striped in mauve and tangerine. (the bull, not Varian... however... come over here V... hehehe) I have some cute little birds that spend the summer up under my house eves and when the babies get flying lessons, they sometimes end up staying over in a nice warm bucket on the porch because of high winds. (They knock themselves silly on my sliding glass door and so I put them in there so they aren't harmed til the wind calms down.) Now I have to look up the little critters and make a texture map for them.
Oh my, Bloodsong! Did you miss the MOD Mike Bull Challenge? LOL! After checking out that thread, don't miss the MOD Bull Gallery! And don't forget to decorate a bull for Mike! (It shows him how much we appreciate him!) ;) Diana, I would come over to check out your little birds -- they sound terrific! -- but I'll wait until after you put that tangerine and mauve paint away! LOL! :D
Well Mike became a bull because there was a big discussion about how he couldn't be a cow! So we made him a bull. :) Mike himself started it all by referring to himself as a "mod" (short for "moderator" and then wondered if he might be a "MOD cow" (a play on "mad cow"). Guess I need to go back and find that thread, too, eh? :)
