Her you go, My last post for this. Thought you might like to see a non-merchant attempt.![](http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/art/emoticons/tt2.gif)

I managed to get my blink morphs right/left/both working right, also a bunch of other morphs for lips, ears and phonemes. This is a special face morph and the texture is almost finished now. The clothes are almost finished so the next time I post an image, it will be in the gallery with the complete character.

pretty girl, beryld :) She reminds me someone in this picture, some actress ... Any ideas who might that be? :) Michal 4blueyes

She's really cute -- looks a little like Meryl Streep?

Marque ( ) posted Wed, 28 June 2006 at 3:38 PM

Does anyone have an idea on how I would do the real skin on her?

4blueyes ( ) posted Wed, 28 June 2006 at 5:10 PM

Marque, if you have ever successfully created a texture for any figure, then it could be somehow easy, using the templates from the free stuff, and photos of skin or, maybe, merchant resources from the marketplace. Otherwise it is a boring, complicated process and not everyone has enough patience to complete the task  Cake1 has an amazing texturing tutorial on her site: www.CakeOne.com - go to the tutorials section. It will show you the steps on how to use photos for texturing. Hope this helps :) Michal 4blueyes

OK, so I lied. You got me wondering who she looks like now too. I can't put a finger on it. I just threw the mesh in Hex, then pushed and pulled till I got this. Maybe a good thing to look kind of like someone but not sure who. I changed the hair color and now she kind of looks like a cross of Park Overall and Jane Seymour, to me that is. May look like someone else to you.![](http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/art/emoticons/lol.gif)

Marque, I used a combination of merchant resources and I have a subscription to www.3d.sk/ I still fight my textures every minute of the way

4blueyes not talking about a texture...talking about the real skin product. I know that you can change it to match different characters, just wondered if anyone had done it and which line they changed. With this new forum format, (which I hate btw), I can't find the old threads on it. It works on the lights in P6, it's not a character texture.

This is Miki without using the real skin product

And this is Miki with the real skin applied to the light

Tashar59 ( ) posted Wed, 28 June 2006 at 9:31 PM

Which skin shader do you have?

If it's All Real Skin Shader, scroll down untill you see the body groups and add the Gloria body groups  (case sensitive).

The only one I don't have is the Uni mesh Skin Shader, I have all the other versions so there was no need for it.

Thanks, think I need more coffee....lol

Tashar59 ( ) posted Thu, 29 June 2006 at 12:54 AM

Lots of groups but worth the time when finished.

4blueyes ( ) posted Thu, 29 June 2006 at 1:09 AM

That's what you were asking about! I used Unimesh Realism Kit but it needed more customizing than RSS as far as I understand as it has more than just shader info. I agree with beryld, takes pretty much time to fine tune but the result is well worth it :) Michal 4blueyes

Don;t suppose we have any idea when she'll be ready do we Ann?  I am just desperate for some goodies for my Glo and I am so swamped with "real" work since I changed jobs that I daren't even think of trying to do a character texture for her.

ann0314 ( ) posted Fri, 30 June 2006 at 12:09 PM

Hey Val she should be done in about a week. We also have a bunch of projects at once so this one is more for the fun of it so I cant guarantee. IF you need a texture though I may be able to just get that to ya fairly soon :O)

HUGS!!

ann :O)

Valerian70 ( ) posted Fri, 30 June 2006 at 12:56 PM

Ah, has this turned into a commercial thread? I think I'm the only one whose not a merchant that has posted a product.

Oh well, bound to happen I guess.

ann0314 ( ) posted Fri, 30 June 2006 at 2:07 PM

Well just cuz Im a merchant doesnt mean Im trying to sell her..I was more expressiing that I liked her and thought she had some potential :O) Shes cute :O) And hey even merchants play too just usually it turns inadvertantly into work LOL

HUGS!

ann :O)

Tashar59 ( ) posted Fri, 30 June 2006 at 2:16 PM

And the free advertising dosen't hurt too.

I won't tell,       for a price.

Valerian70 ( ) posted Fri, 30 June 2006 at 3:45 PM

Playing turns into eventually becoming a merchant to fund additional purchases - if only I could make enough off it not to work I might be able to do some work at the office instead of surfing the forums or dreaming about clothing textures.

She is cute though - she must be I was all "I don;t need another girl thanks" until I took a proper look at her and what some folks have done with her.  By the way, for the record Michal's morphs are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy cool, had a minor play last night with her "just for fun" and i am impressed so far and now Beryld has given me a very useful tip about hair I am all set :o)  Oh, except for a texture............lol
