After loading a texture (I am using Laura, the female MilTeen), the texture map shows up shrunk  down in the area I have selected rather than loading an area to the model. I know I'm doing something silly, could someone give me some advice on how to fix this?

sounds like you have applied a head map to a body material zone

 Thanks, Junkoh - It seemed like no matter what I do the entire map shows up - I had the torso selected and was trying to work with that but I will keep trying. I want to give away this texture as a freebie once I'm done. :)

Try loading any V3 texture onto Laura (they share the same UV-Mapping). If the same thing happens, then the chances are that, somehow, you've lost Laura's UV-Mapping...

BTW - there are hundreds of V3 textures avaiable for V3 in Free-stuff, if you don't have any yourself...

Thanks, Diolma, I tried that. I can load a V3 texture fine, It's only when I try to load a texture using the Preteen Texture in the Material Room that I get this. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. :(

The Mill Preteen textures do not fit Laura 3

They do fit Laura PT

 Thanks for replying, Junkoh. I'm kind of confused on the difference though, I have Luke and Laura, is Laura PT part of that package or do I need to get something new?

I've used the Laura template, but I'll keep trying. Thanks, Junkoh. :) It's still loading the entire template image into the diffusion map when I try and place it there for texture mapping. Is that the problem? Is there some tutorial I can use so I'm not such a pest? Poser 6 is kinda confusing to me, but I really want to master it. :/

Try looking through the tutorial section here.  Maybe also Dr. Geep.  I know that Poser Pros has a few in their forums.
