Poser 6 render, the F1 at this moment are only 5 objects in all, body, 2 front engines, 2 back engines. so only 5 pieces in this F1-x ....

welll euh wipeout ? i never seen the game so...

But thnx for the compliment that it looks like something from a game ..." at least people pay for the game so something must be good about my work then"  .. in my wierd dutch mind this made actualy sence ..... :}

You need lift-vector thrusters to get and keep it off the ground and control surfaces to guide it through the air. (Something like a Rutan, whittled down might do.  It favors a Rutan plane.)

I'd also suggest some steering, side-slipping jets to maneuver around the tight turns.  The thing will move like a high-speed ground-effect machine like a hovercraft, otherwise.  The 'side-silpping' jets would be good for passing and weaving back and forth with great power and speed. They'd be side-mounted and steerable.
