Subject: CDI Morphs ??????

Thinking of purchasing Kioki for A3. Daz states "Numerous head and body morphs utilizing injection technology (for CDI morphs only).

http://www.daz3d.com/shop.php?op=itemdetails&item=3067

There are 183 head/throat morphs and 45 body morphs.

Are these morphs pz2 files that I can use like normal from my Pose Library?

What exactly are CDI morphs?

Would appreciate any advice.

CDI is "Capsces Digital Ink", the person that produced this morph set.
They most likely mean that the set contains INJ and REM files for the morphs in the set.

I've had Kioki from CDI for quite a while and think it's a terrific product.  Between that and Netherworks 'Aiko-X' morph sets I can't imagine needing any other morphs for Aiko.

The Kioki Cr2 has lots of additional new morph channels especially for the CDI morphs that come with the pack. This means in order to use the CDI morphs you would have to always use Kioki and not the default Aiko.

Tunsey,

You sound like you're experienced using Capsces' morphs, so I have a question for you.

I'm trying to render some images with Capsces' Chubblies, and there are white pixels all around the images I've rendered, because the Mil3 Baby's textures aren't big enough for the morphed body.  Do you know of a way to get around this besides making a new texture for the Morphed baby?

I really love her morphs, but I've steered away from using them because of this problem.

Thanks,

Bobette

I've seen it suggested that swapping the Mil3 Baby's UVs for those of V3 will do this.

You'll need a version of UVMapper.
Load V3's OBJ, and export the UVs.
Load Mil Baby's OBJ and import the UV's you just saved.
Save the OBJ with a different name.
Edit a copy of CR2 to point to the new OBJ.

...what nruddock said.  That sounds more like a UV issue than a morph issue.

Okay. Thanks. I'll try it. :-)

The texture is at fault, not the morph.  There is no morph anywhere that can cause a texture to slip.  One other thing you could try: Open the texture in question in a paint program and extend the texture for a couple pixels in the direction of the visible seam and just save it and reopen poser and click the little black arrow-head at the top right of the preview window and click 'Reload Textures' and see if this helps any.
