gotta love the newbies! lol

OK, so I got it up and running...figured out how to get victoria on the page...now what?? lmao

How can I get hair and stuff on her? I was able to get some free DL's from the net, but I'm TOTALLY lost with the directions on how to load them into the program. Anyone know where I can find a really simple tut for this?? I have all this cool stuff, and I can't figure out how to use it! It's just my luck!

Also, I'm looking for tuts on how to make them move and such things.

Any advice for the 'tard here would be great!

Welcome!  So far, as far as learning goes, I find that judee3d's tutorials and walkthroughs are the easiest for basic learners.  I'd start reading through there and see how it goes ;)

You could also go through the Quick Start Guide, which has a link in the help menu and uses only the free base content you received with DAZ|Studio (assuming you downloaded it).

Cool, thanks! I'll try those! I assume judee3d's tuts are in the tutorial section for DAZ? In renderosity that is. Or is it the DAZ site?? I saw a couple in both of those. I'll check them out. Thanks guys!!

The link for Judee's tutorials is at the top of MorriganShadow's post. But there are some good tutorials in the DAZ Arcana section, yes.

If this is for some one who is a newbie to ask a question then my question is how do you adjust the file size of you render?  I have made several renders but the file size for them are too large to be uploaded here, so how can I adjust the file size so it can be uploaded here?  Also it should be noted that as far as photo shop goes it is so basic that you might as well say that I do not have one.  Thank you for any help.

Adjust the dimensions in pixels in Render>Renders settings, make sure you are choosing jpg as the save format if you want to upload to the web (but not for keeping an archive copy, or doing editing to the finished image, as jpg degrades your image every time you save and reload it). If that doesn't work you're going to have to use an image editor or image utility to adjust the jpg quality setting in pursuit of smaller files sizes.

Thank you I will try your suggestions
