Ok, I was just curious how hot it is where you live????? This image is from my brother's house near San Diego CA,  Where I live north of Seattle it's been in the 90's!!!  Lets see some thermometers???

Beat the heat with a jet tea smoothie...  Peach, that is...  ;-)

Sorry I don't have a pic to post at the moment. The weather for London is hot hot hot !!!

This July has been the hottest month ever recorded since records began back in  the C17th.

August is forecast to be hotter : (

LOL...Cute idea,Akemi.

How hot is it????

It's so hot...I let my dogs breathe on me to cool off....

It's so hot...chickens are laying hard-boiled eggs....

It's so hot...I sweat more going to the gym in my car, than when I'm in there...

Sorry.Couldn't help myself.I don't have a pic of a thermometer, but even if I did,it wouldn't show how bad it is here. It's been in the 90's...and if that's not bad enough, the humidity has been near 100% every day.So basically,it's like holding your head over a boiling lobster pot and trying to breathe.LOL.

I suppose I could boil something and take a pic of the steam, but frankly it's way too hot to even turn the cooktop on...and we have central air conditioning!

And here's the latest 'good' news....a heatwave is coming!

Hello???What the heck has this been?

I think Andreas had the right idea...the arctic circle is looking very attractive right now, lol.

Stay cool,everyone. :^)

Ahhhhh, here in Santa Fe i wake up to temps in the hi 50's to low 60's and it  will go up between 80 to 90.  Even in the 90's it's not bad here...LOW HUMIDITY =).   THE humidity is so low here at times, when it rains the water evaporates before it reaches the ground and that's no chit...
Marlene, looks like you need to head to Jones Beach for a week...lol..

Right now 29 feels like 42. And the gas weather ranging from...$101.3 to $113.9 (cad) toronto canada. http://www.torontogasprices.com/ http://www.gasbuddy.com/

Question the question. Answer the question. Question the answer...

I wish I knew what I was gonna say :oP

Not seeing as what gas prices have to do with this thread, but whatever your price in Canada is, it's still ultra cheap ;)

Mary...it is a very sad looking weather...brrr. Simmilar here (au). If not raining, then windy - if not windy than raining!

About gas /petrol price.  $1.45 au / littre and rising.  My full tank  on a 4x4  (70l) cost me $100.00 au .   Roughly $ 145.00 US.  Taking fotos getting expensive, not that would stop me doing it.

3DGuy ( ) posted Fri, 04 August 2006 at 8:13 PM

I think you had your calculator backwards.. $100 aussie dollars = $65US

Want to know what the prices here are? SRP €1.51 per liter. Now for you gallon (US gallons) people, that's €5,71 a gallon or... $6.87US.. or $8.87AU no that's not a typo.

Hmm ausies work with liters.. for me that works out to $2.35AU per liter.

Now say again that YOU pay alot for gas :b_upset:

Zacko ( ) posted Fri, 04 August 2006 at 11:33 PM

A litre of gas in Sweden is now up to 13 swedish kronor...equals 2.28 aussie dollars. And for gallon-folks that would mean 6.79 USD per gallon.

So it seems to me that it´s us europeans that get robbed. Oh...sidenote. In Norway...the gas costed 2.81 AUD per liter, or 7.89 USD per gallon. And i drove 400 km/250 miles in a SUV that likes its gas......once i get my gasbill.....i´m ruined. :bored:

Aint this educational regarding the metric system? LOL. :tt2:

Gosh, I'm soooooo sorry this is such a horrible price!!!!!!! I just filled up today and it was 3.03 US dollars per gallon...  I'd be tempted to get a skateboard if I lived over there??

Zacko ( ) posted Fri, 04 August 2006 at 11:59 PM

3 dollars per gallon? Are you kidding me? That´s cheaper than HALF the prize we pay.

That's why I feel bad for you, we all feel 3 dollars is crazy, now I won't feel so bad when I go to the pump!!!!   Do you have the hybrids over there??? Part gas part electric??? or the smart  cars???

Zacko ( ) posted Sat, 05 August 2006 at 12:18 AM

Yeah...but please....can ya even call those things cars? :tt2: After my accident i had to have a BIG car so that i wouldn´t have to be so worried of getting into another crash since i realised it could happen any day no matter how careful or good a driver you are. Can´t control the other people out on the roads. And where i live, you have pretty far to go anywhere....so i don´t think a hybrid car would be all that clever to have, lol. But it´s getting more and more popular with liquor-car. Cars that are driven on ethanol....infact i´m the guy that analyzes that gas in.the lab where i work....when i´m not doing drop-shots that is, lol.  😄
