Subject: V3 morphing clothes

Ok can someone help me please. I am working on a pregnant V3 and the morphing shirt has the pregnancy morph dial but the skirt and pants don't...How do I get that morph dial for the skirt and pants??
Thanks,
Shannon

I believe you could use Morph Manager, a free utility, to add that morph to the pants

http://www.morphography.uk.vu/dlutility.html

but I believe there are issues with it and Poser 6 - you have to change the version number of any P6 file you wish to open with MM  to version 4.01 or version 5

Hope this helps,

Logan

cool deal. The readme and MM homepage tutes are pretty intuitive but if you get stuck post here.

ok it didn't work. What am I doing wrong.
I opened the shirt that has pregnancy morph target and the skirt that doesn't in MM and copied the target and saved the skirt.
Then I opened poser and applied the skirt the pregnancy morph dial is there but doesn't do anything when I turn the dial the skirt doesn't change.

Any suggestions?

lemme poke around the readme and tutes. Im pretty sure MM can do this but it possibly cant and it may be a job for The Tailor program.

Ill get back with ya shortly.

thanks so much.
I guess I am just confused as all the items came together but just the shirt has the pregnancy morph you would think if one of the pieces of clothing had the morph all of them would. But that is what I get for thinking. LOL

Morphs made for one item won't work on another item with different geometry.

Although MM is able to transfer the channels and data for the morphs between items with different geometries, it doesn't convert morphs.
It's primary function is to move morphs between CR2s for items that have the same geometry.

OK it turns out im on either glue, paint-chips, or possibly a combination of both.

I thought I remembered using MM for this task, when in fact, I used The Tailor 1.5 from DAZ3D. It's newest current version is 1.61

sorry for the confusion. Have you ever worked with the tailor? Its a great utility, and while its not free unfortunately, it IS currently on sale :)

thanks.
I went ahead and bought and it works somewhat. Only part of the skirt morphs. I must have done something wrong. But it will be for an illistration so I can paint in the parts of the skirt that won't behave.

check the documentation regardng checking "as full body morph" feature.

You may try giving the skirt another run thru the program, selecting all instances of the morph in all body parts affected and applying to skirt differently and saving out with a diff name to test against your first conversion.

Good suggestion with WW esther, I havent any experience with that for applying clothes to custom morph chars yet but there seems to be a LOT of happy excited users of this program so im sure Phil has come thru yet again :)

thanks for the tips. WOW I would love the WW but don't have $60 to spend right now so will make due with what I have.  I appreciate all your help though. I am having a ton of fun with this program.
