Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 26 6:57 am)
You have to set things as follows :-
Diffuse_Value 0.0
Specular_Value 0.0
Transparency 1.0
Transparency_Edge1.0
Transparency_Falloff 0.0
Ambient_Value 0.0
Translucence_Value 0.0
Remove all nodes other than the Poser_Surface.
I usually set all colours to Black and uncheck Reflection_Lite_Mult, but this isn't necessary, but looks tidier.

I'm trying to make a glass person in Poser 6. I know how to make individual body parts invisible by unchecking the 'visible' box in the parameters window for each part. I run into a problem with the inside of the mouth and teeth. You can't select these parts individually in the pose room or the hierachy window, so you can't uncheck 'visible' in the parameter window or the eye icon in the hierarchy editor, either.
So-o-o I thought it would be easy enough to make things invisble in the material room, by making them transparent. But no matter what settings I try, the supposedly invisible parts leave shadows and other visible artifacts. I've been pounding my head into the wall trying different things and nothing works. Has anyone else been able to successfully make glass people or ghosts? If yes, how did you get around the mouth and teeth problem?
thanks,
Linda B
