Subject: Strange Mat question

I was wondering if there was a way to possibly do a transparent 1 click mat pose for just makeup, so it can go onto any charecter without having to be done in psp or photoshop and saved on a premade skin texture. I'm not sure if I asked that just right. I'm still raw with all of this. but I have several skin textures for my victoria and would love to be able to just add on the makeup when I get her loaded instead of having to make a new text every time.
I know this can be done with lips and nails, but I want face and body makeup in a 1 click mat. Or am I asking for too much leeway with the program? LOL!

Attached Link: Unimesh Make-Up Kit

Check out the product at the link, IIRC, it uses nodes to add the makeup where you want, and works on any unimesh figure and texture.

And if you don't use the unimesh, you can use it for a reference on how to position things for other characters.

simple answer is no. there is not a 1 click solution.

there is a relativly easy solution and that is the makup kit modus0 has pointed out.

If you have ShaderSpider you could set up a wedge to use the Unimesh Make-Up Kit which would be considerably easier.

unfortunatly without ShaderSpider there is not a way to take the texture you have applied and put additional nodes in with it. Unimesh Make-Up Kit's instructions actually say that you must reset your texture once you apply the makup materials.

Ummmmmmm LOL! unfortunatly, this whole thing is greek to me. Nodes? unimesh? I'll have to check it out and see if I can make heads or tails out of it all. Thank you both so much for the replies!
