Could someone Help please with DL'ding Mapps SF Roadways Freebie?

When I click on Download, I get and IE6 Message saying My Current Settings do not allow this file to be downloaded.

When I attempt to change the Security Setting From High to something less, IE6 says "The recommended setting for this zone is High and will not allow me to lower it.

Many Thanks

Got exactly same problem. My only solution is to use different computer, or different browser (FireFox should do fine).

Firefox or Opera both will download the file with no problems.

I had no issue downloading with Opera! 😄 This is a very well thought out package! Couldn't pass this one up. Fair warning to those that use DAZ Studio or Poser P or 4 is that the material files are all in .mt5 format. I think someone said that if you just move the folder to your Pose folder from the Material folder and change the .mt5 to .pz2 it will work fine. If I'm wrong then please someone correct me! I got the conversions done but I haven't had the time to test it out yet. Busy beta testing...... Richard ;-)~

Tihs sometimes happens to IE users tthat have XP with the SP2 patch installed. For some reason
"free webs" can get on the restricted list. Juat go to "Tools" - "Internet Options" when the window comes up click on the security tabe and choose "restricted sites" (LOOKS LIKE A DO NOT ENTER SIGN). look down the list for "free webs, selcet it and choose "remove" downloads will work fine after that. For some reason this happens to about 5-10% of teh people using IE. Why I have no idea. I have not heared of any one having a problem with any of the content of my site so it realy should never get on the list in the first place but it does happen.

RAMWolff that can work but for characters more so then props. I find Mat poses for props don't seem to wrk unless the prop is attached to a character like a smart prop for example.

All the items are pretextured anyway so it shouldn't cause any problems, the mt5 files just give 5 and 6 users more options

No pros, glad ya like the roads :-)

My main inperation remains the same, I needed a road for a pic I was doing so I built one...lol

Seems rather populare so far. 500 donloads already. At tis rate it will beat out my Anniverasy Towers in a day and a half...lol and took about 10% of the time to build. Ya just never know what will be popular :-)

I think probably because that while there are some good road sets out there this one seems very complete and well thought out and good textures - so of course word of mouth and all that LOTS of downloads!! Hope your servers can handle it! 😉

Thanks very much Mapps. Nice to know I made the 5% - 10% of the WinXp Pro SP2 Users of IE6.

Who makes up the list, MS?

I really haven't been interested in changing my browser.

Cheers

If I could figure out what makes the list I could come up with a solution. Apparently getting my own domain could fix it but I alreay pay $45 a month to give away freebies and that is the max I am willing to pay.

Hope you are enjoying the freebies now :-)
