Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 30 4:51 pm)
Sure, just go to the Material Room. Select Advanced from the tabs
Click on the body part you want to color.
You'll see a window that has a box in it called Poser Surface with a bunch
of different things like Diffuse Color, Specular Color, and so on.
On the row called Diffuse Color look for a little electrical plug looking
icon and click on it. Then in the pop-up window click on new node.
Scroll down to 2D textures and select Image Map. This creates
a new node. In that node click on Image source. Another pop-up
window comes up which allows you to browse to the file that
has your texture. Then go back to the Pose room, set up your
character's poses and render.

I am very new to Poser6 and just received the practical poser book which is a great help.I am sure if I did more digging I could find the answer in the book, but thought I would try here also.I really like importing and applying different photo's or abstract pics from my gallery to use as a texture for the face in the face room.I set my launching defaults to "zero" and unclothed with textured shaded not that this might make any difference at all. But my question is...can I apply the same texture from the face room to the rest of the unclothed body in possibly another room as fast as I do it for the face alone? This is a surealistic look for the body which I usually export into Vue. Since I'm not working with a clothed body I thought their might be a quick way of doing this.
Thanx in advance
David
