Subject: -> Poser to LightWave 3D?

I was wondering how to go about exporting Poser 4 models to LightWave 5.5. I know to export the Poser models as DXF, but how do I get the texture, trans., bump maps and etc. on them? I have experience with Poser 4 to 3D S. Max, but I'm not certain of how to go about it with LightWave. The two programs do not seem at all alike.

I export all my poser models as obj files...unfortunately LW 5.5 doesn't support UVMapping...if I were you, I'd get the update to 6.5...it support UVMapping and makes texturing your poser figure SO much easier...

Any tutorials that will help texture a figure in Lightwave when using the Pro Pack plug in? What about 3ds. It's like pulling teeth with that damned materials manager. HEEELP

It's simple applying textures in 3D S. Max. You just have to import the Material along with the .OBJ file/s. Then, in material editor, you just find one of them and apply. I forget where I got the turorial. But, it's not that complicated.
