Hi David, Yes, Fractals can be animated - but not for the Terrain Genrator, only on shaders or as a displacement map. Just keyframe the parameters like you would any other animation. Animating open water is no problem. Animating where the water meets the shore has some, um, challenges. Cameras: just click the the camera name within the Assembly Room window and you'll open a list of all cameras and camera-save settings. You can animate multiple cameras but will need to switch to the camera of your choice in the Render Room. Mark

Hi. I am still dabbling with getting the ocean waves right for animation and I was just wondering if the Fractal Function generator filter can be animated? I tried to animate a scene using the fractal function generator filter, that one of the carrara users uploaded, but the water goes all flat.
Also if I place a second camera in a scene how do I switch to look through the other camera? Can more than one camera be animated?
Again any help will be appreciated.
Sincerely,
David
