I love unusual trees and the "root" shot gives me hope that a couple of my trees will survive.
Rich, I just can't git enough of Scotish landscapes, what a beautiful country!
btw, camera took a shot and isn't working up to snuff, focusing problems, and my manual focus ability is still too slow and frustrates me, dang it. To the shop I guess.
Manning
Manning, that is great. I see what you mean about the robin, so why not just crop a bit on the right side? Sorry to hear about your cam. :(

@ inshaala: The Original Oscar Mayer Weiner-Mobiles were used to deliver products to the stores back in the late 1950's - early 1960's. There are very few remaining, I've heard tell the Henry Ford Museum purchased one of them. There can't be more than a few of them left.

That one's really good - the tecture and 3D realisim is there. Clouds are the best things to do exposure experiments...

Well I guess you'd just point at him and laugh, but he's pretty good at it. He knows when he's been spotted or not and 9 times out of 10 will get a good result. I've seen men scream like women when he yells. He's considerate though, he never tries to frighten the elderly.

Nice! I could just do cloud photos all the time, but I think people might tire of that after a while. I know there is one pro who did a series on them...can't remember who right now.

Here's one I wouldn't want to post in my gallery for obvious reasons.
I like it because we found my daughter starting to make this weird expression with her mouth, she was doing quite a bit, so before it became a habit we tried to sort of talk her out of it - without much success.
I had the brainwave of sneaking a picture of her doing it. She looked at it once and hated the photograph so much it was stopped immedietly!
I love the story of the Urban bushman, I hope you tipped him well for the shot Steve.
Thanks Kim, that old bear looks much better with a dark background!!! He's a retired actor bear, who now resides in a wildlife farm. There's actually several retiree's from the movies and they're quite the show off's. They'll do all sorts of tricks for some bread !!! LOL!!!! I know some people who'll do backflips for a good piece of sour dough!!! LOL!!!!!!
i have a feeling it is below 200k, i just go for around the 100-150k mark and it seems to accept it. i think they get resized in posts (you can click on them to enlarge), generally around the 500-700 pixel on the long side is what i tend to do..

This is one I took at the Exchange. It's a junk/recycle place for great picture taking. And about that wienermobile I took some pictures of one a few months back ,here in Washington St that was here for a contest looking for kids to sing the jingle for a new commercial. It was cute watching the kids trying to sing about wanting to be a Oscar meyer wiener.
They can be any pixel size as far as I can tell, as long as the total file size stays below 200K Wonderful images one and all!!!
