The genre for the October Challenge is:

(drum roll please...)

Flowers/Plants !!

I'm hoping this will be a popular genre. There are certainly plenty of examples in the Gallery.

the challenge flower/plant is good, but in october is hard to see a very nice flower Bruce

Oh but there are many possibilities to take photos nevertheless...even decay can be connected with the challenge thread, as related to plants, don't you think so too? Example attached

oh yes.. it's a very nice idea mermaid...

i think i can with the plant ot like you but here, i don't one flower, or she died and no very esthetic :lol:.. I need to see that today...

Hello,

Valou....There are plenty of plants and trees right?
It can be a flower, or it can be a plant

sometimes plants live indoors
what about a dead plant?

Here in the US where I live, the trees are changing color, so for some,

that is a great opportunity..

We've got some lovely entries so far. Keep the coming gang. Dried flowers can be very aethetic as well... And don't forget about mosses and lichens. I do hope we see some nice fall shots too.

Typical, I just upload my best ever flower shot to my gallery and then find out the genre challenge is for plants/flowers!! lol. Oh well, better go shoot some more!

Size submissions, I think the upload description of 1024 x 1024 should be changed to 1000 x 1000 as that is the max size one can submit, also there is no file size in bytes for the thumbnail, just 100 x 100, which means sometimes, the upload report says that the thumbnail is too large.
