I believe the photographer uses Olympuses Geert, and yes they are ;'] ;']

BTW, dpreview has posted a mini-gallery of E-400 sample photos. After looking through it, I am quite impressed by what seems to be a very capable DSLR.

Just had a guest speaker at our camera club (Knox Photographic Society in Melbourne Australia)who repairs all sorts of cameras, when asked that question these were the points he made...

What you like in looks
What you want in features/have heard good things about.
The largest appature in that lot . (more coverage of the shot)

these are all very good points but the most important is what feels comfortable in your hand!

YOUhave to like what you wind up with!!

Very true. It is so much better to have a little hands on experience before purchasing a DSLR. Better yet, rent one out for a week or two if possible, espcially if paying more than $1K for it.

i RECOMMEND GOING TO A GOOD CAMERA STORE AND ASKING TO TRY THEM,  I use canon but i know the Nikons are equally as good!!  I Have the canon 300d and 400d and my freind has the Nikon D80 = we took the same scene shot together with same tripod and similar lens setting (mm) and they were very similar shots with only slight differences in tones/colour!!  Its up to you!!
