depends on how it is used. Looking at the items (out of context) they look like some sci-fi "stun stick" type devices.

The fact it's there means it has been approved by one of the mod team, no free stuff item can be there without going through the site verification process by a mod!!

it may be intended as an humourous item, some sort of mockery of the alleged reports from rural folk who confused some sort of dissociative state with an alien encounter of that nature. in any case, the thumbnail was blocked, meaning nobody was forced to look at it, or download it. in general, it's considered bad form here to criticise freestuff providers like this, but the other two items are being redistributed without credit or permission from the old 3dcafe site, which may be a copyright problem for the admins to investigate.

I also can't believe that made it to freestuff. Has a table and a pose and anal prob looks in the (P3do viewer) Like it's the size of a cattle probe.

Afaik, the prop is for those X-Files type scenes. You know, alien abduction & experimentation. Nothing obscene about that :cough: unless you want it to be.

And yes, I have it. Just haven't found a use for it yet. ;-)

Sorry to say but that's a redicilulous statement. Some freestuff provider is uploading something considered offensive and provoking by some of us and all you have to say is that? What's this place coming too?

Actually I've seen so much strange spelling and weird Babelfish translations on the web, my first thought was that this was another example of that. You know, someone makes a space probe for planet Uranus and consults babelfish for the english version...

OFGS no body is forcing anyone to download it, It's a prop, the first thing i thought of when i heard about it was aliens and humerous pictures. It takes a certain kind of mind, i suppose, to immediately make the jump to 'Disgusting! '

I personally thought it was kind of funny myself,  which is why  (combined with I knew it would make ruckus like this until it annoyed an admin enough to remove it) I advised people to get it while they still could.

I may start hiding these in my renders kind of like the 'find the playboy bunny hidden on the cover' thing.

Reminds me of an episode of The Simpsons where they go astray on an Airforce base after a Airshow - MPs search for them in the Hangars, open the door to "Hangar 18" and a little alien lurking in a corner turns around and waves a green wand at them - one of the MP's shouts "Look out, he's got his probe!".

What you DO with it MAY be gross. If you put it up your nose for instance. But the probes themselves are just that. Props which you can use for whatever you want.

Oh and SHOULD the admins in their wisdom decide to take them down, they will still be available, like they've been for almost a year now, on RaunchyMinds dot com.

I think some folks are anal about the "Anal" part of the name. ;-)

I agree.  Maybe because of my medical background I don't see a problem. To me it's along the lines of hospital room props,  stethoscope props, hospital uniforms etc.  Just another medical gadget.

Oooh, and the aliens are all canids! So naturally they assume Fido & Fifi are the dominant species here on Earth. 

I guess what I mean is that the prob itself may not be gross, but just thinking about how it would be used in a Poser render leaves a disturbing picture in my mind.  LOL, maybe I'm the one who's gross!  LOL!!!

In this case, I think the Free Stuff mods slipped up big time. A while back, there was a huge blow-up about how anything with the word "fetish" would no longer be allowed. Yet the mod approved an item with the name "Anal Probe".
It would be one thing if the item was called "Scientific Probe" or just "Probe", but it's not: the item is named "Anal Probe" and it was approved for inclusion in the free stuff section.

Law and order Rocks!!! I have to tell ya I love them all. I very much like John Munch (he thinks as I do), Liv and Elliott from SVU. And also love Goren and Eames from Criminal Intent. I, however , do not like the new Captain. They need to bring Deacons back. I also like the original L&O too.
