Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 06 4:35 pm)
Hi Amacord and thx for your answers.
I dont really get your point here
1: quote "x- and z-trans actor body, not actor hip", I dont want to move the body, its the rotation of the figure that sometimes occurs on the spot and other times makes a giant circle. Body is always choosed.
2: http://www.rbtwhiz.com/rbtwhiz_ERC.html refers to something far more advanced then what i am after, i just want to minimize the lenght of library palette.
3: Lets say I always save my pictures at the root of F: , if i apply a pose from F:Poser5RuntimeLibrariesposefolder as a last thing before I render, then Poser wants to save the picture at that location, is there a way to set F: as default?
Sorry if my questions were unclear.
Regards / Jonny

Allows you to pose the hands and fingers all together - very good. Love estherI aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
Hi and thx for your answers.
Guess I cant explain what im after in question number 2:
I have made up a picture for what im after (not to control movements)

I just want to improve the workflow :)

The reason why the figure sometimes moves in a circle is AFAIK because the center point is offset. For instance the Daz Toon Kitty (or is it the toon dog?) rotates around the tip of its tail. Most inconvenient.
I can think of ONE scenario where this is actually nice: When you've just saved someting to the palette and have rendered a nice new thumbnail for it. Other than that, it's just one of Poser's annoying quirks.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

Hi!
I have some problems that are disturbing to me:
1: sometimes when i Y-rotate a character it makes a wide circle instead of spinning on the spot, why?
2: Is there a way to gather the bodyparts on the parameter dials, for example all the fingers and their parts will be displayed in a sub menu?
3: Why does Poser think I want to save my newly renderd pic in the folder I last used from the libraries?
I use Poser 5 (have P6 to but prefer P5)
Thx in advance / Jonny
