I've got Poser. I haven't used it much, but can it be used to create the drape and fit of the clothing? I always thought it was more or less the same as DAZ ... just for putting previously made outfits and poses on the characters.
If the clothing is actually modelled as separate meshes in a standard 3D program (I've got Rhino and I could use that), then are the morphs and "fit" created in Poser??
Could be worse, could be raining.
Quote - Oh, and PS ... if it comes to tweaking ... Bryce works really really well for tweaking things to fit.
Up to a point I'd agree,.It''s the process of making sure you pick the right part of the figure to tweak that get's tedious when you discover just how many body parts a figure may have..:biggrin
Rigging - setting up the joints in the first place - is still largely a Poser task though I think DAZ have said native tools are planned at some stage. You can use DFormers in D|S or magnets in Poser to tweak the shape of the mesh, but radical reworking is better in a dedicated modelling application.

Now, if I get to the point where I would like to modify more of the human clothing to work with characters such as the House Mouse, do I need a separate program to do that? Not so much the drawing of the parametric maps, but creating the geometry and the DS files that tell the outfit how to "fit" to the character.
Also, I realize that I can create a pose and save it as a Poser Preset, but how do people bundle those poses in pose files?
I'm curious because I'm planning a whole mouse series and I'm going to need a lot of clothing and props specific to them.
