There are places to sign large boards in memory of those fallen and in recognition of the living. This is on one of the boards..today. TomDart.
I will put together the better shots for showing later. There are some neat closeups to see, I believe they will be. All comments appreciated! Tom.
A great way to start the race. I love the expression of the fella on the left. Looking forward to more!

Tom, Piet and Dianthus and all who are touched by this horrible darkness.
I know how you all feel. After my 2 brothers and I battled Kidney disease for 10 years and things finally settled down with transplants (older brother and I)and medications for all three we were told that my dad had pancreatic cancer at 58 years old.
He passed away 6 months later.
My 3 year old neice was innocently asked by a friend (who had been away and didn't know) where her granddad had gone. she replied that God needed another angel!
Love the pics Tom. Keep up the good work. You are a champion whether you ran or not, it is the support and enthusiasm that keeps the mind positive to battle on. The most important thing I was told by my hubby is not to be afraid to CRY!

On Sunday there is a fund raiser event for local cancer institutes, Buddy's Race Against Cancer 5k. I like to be in the pack, walking and coming in with the fastest of those. This year, I cannot compete because of problems in one leg and have to wait results of electrical and muscle tests to see. Last year, I had to sit out because I had just started bp meds...what life brings us. : )So, what to do? I suppose I will just have to take pictures! That is not a bad thing and should be fun. Please wish me well on an overcast day to get some good action and personality shots of the event. Thanks. TomDart.
