Subject: Welcome New Members In Forum

Hi Everyone,
Today i spent many hours leaving photography members instant messages about our Photography Forum and how to enter it. Well if you made it this far welcome. Ask questions and answer any thread(subject) you wish to. And most importantly have fun. Have any problems why not trying to reply to this thread.
Chris:b_tonguewink:

Thanks Chris, I hope our new members will have a great time here. I would also like to know everyone's native (most spoken) language so I may understand what they're saying easier. I speak mostly english. Happy foruming 😄

Question the question. Answer the question. Question the answer...

I wish I knew what I was gonna say :oP

Hi Chris and thanks for your kind message, I've reached this "kaleidoscopic" and multicoloured art community after a very bad experience in another web photo community in Italy, where all photo post-works and/or manipulations were critiqued and fingered by a sort of Torquemada's "Medieval Inquisition". I love to perform pure photography of course as well but I feel to be enough curious (as a kid) and open-minded to have a look around for 360,realizing that to express our own emotions and concepts at higher levels sometimes we can take advantages from technologies resources...that's all :-) Now surfing here at Renderosity, I'm discovering such inspired artists and photographers, and I'm sure that I will increase my knowledge and experience interacting with others, always in the mutual respect of creative freedom :-) Peace Claudio

Welcome new people! hope you have a nice time here on RR :)

I'm english but speak spanish to a relatively decent level if anyone has any problems needing translating.  might need to say that in spanish too i suppose:

Soy inglés pero hablo espanol si quieres ayuda con algo que no entiendas.

lol @ mike - a dialect? what about an entirely different language? ;-P

Dude, that was MOST unfair.... roflmao....

Just as an education, the Saxons landed in our area of England... a lot of words that Geordie's and Northumbrian's use are actually closer to anglo-saxon English than the rest of the country - words like 'gannin' for going and 'hyem' for home.  What people correct as bad grammer (things like 'axed' for asked) are actually historically correct.  You can tell as you work South how the Geordie words filter out and the Latin influence on words takes over.

Ironically, spending the time in the States had the effect of diluting my Geordie quite a bit - it seems like they only understand you if you talk like Hugh Grant.... but thankfully the girls love the English accent so it's not a bad thing.... he he he.  And don't lose any sleep, within a week of being back I was taakin proper (talking properly) again....lol

Ok, back to the photography........ lol

I was asking if here at RR most of the visitors are members of the community or ousiders as well...in what percentage?

Dianthus ( ) posted Wed, 15 November 2006 at 5:38 PM

Morning Claudio,
Not sure about percentage. Just know how many artists online at one time. Says up the top  where it says Welcome...............
But maybe the moderators might know.

P.S. In my depressed state i completely forgot to say this to all new folks visiting the forum.......

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Appareantly there´s gonna be fruits and stuff later according to Mike. I´m an orange-man myself.....never was that fond of vegetables...oh well. Back to work/drop-shots for moi.

Hey Andreas guess why you didnt get one like the others who comment in here?
Your to good looking and i didnt want rejection. Hehehe.
But real reason is their where 180 uploads that day i sent messages out. So skipped the ones who knew about forum and contests etc. Saved me one quarter of the times spent. Took me the whole day.
But hey its worth it when helping new people in RR. Because i know took me years to come into forum.
WELCOME VALCALI.

ReBorne ( ) posted Fri, 17 November 2006 at 6:28 AM

I think you misinterpreted my comment about fruits, Andreas........ I'll translate - your family obviously had nothing against fruit-cakes.  You survived.......   :-P

Well it was one thing that you "forgot" to IM me...but to then give me that sarcastic excuse about me being too good looking....that really hurt. :tt2: LOL. Hope you like my little animation. 😄

P.S. Stunned? Don´t you mean "stunning". Winking 11

What do you call someone who can speak several languages? Multilingual
3 languages? Trilingual
2 languages? Bilingual
1 Language? British.

he he he (",)

(actually, in several languages I can say "I can't speak french/german/spanish/russian"..... thus disproving and proving my point in one go.)
