Anybody else have this problem? I've been working in Poser A LOT lately and now when I'm out and about I find myself looking at everyone I see with these kind of thoughts running through my head... look, she's got a few loose strands hanging out of her ponytail... I wonder if I could recreate that by combining the pony-tail hair with some strands from one of the other hair props I wonder how I could get that pulled tight effect in one of my characters t-shirts oh man, that would be REALLY easy to duplicate with a simple transmap... Maybe I just need to lay off of Poser for awhile... :P Pat

I keep thinking things like, "Hey, she's wearing Vickie's transmapped flip hair!" "Those are Michael's shorts!" "If he bends his arm any farther, it'll explode." "Man, what a nose morph!" Melanie :)

...lol.... cute Phil.... yes i have that problem..trying to twiddle the chest morph dials...nope...lol. that;s not it... i had to take a short poser break myself when i was absolutely lost in a coffee shop staring at one of the counter girls face intently because of her skin tones and freckles, they would have been absolutely fantastic in poser or bryce and i was trying to figure out how to recreate them and memorize them in my head... everyone else just thought i was a perv....lol

Yep, Everywhere I go and everything I see I think 3D. How can I make that sky, I check out shadows a lot more now, Im really into looking at textures like wood grains and rock grains... Its kinda cool. I look at the world differantly now. ;) Clint

Glad I'm not alone in this, although all of the books I have on drawing the human figure say that you should just sit and watch people sometimes. Talk about people thinking you're weird! And I'm an old lady so the young guys must think I'm perving out and the young girls must just think I'm envious...lol The differences are amazing, and the similarities even more so. I tell them I'm collecting material for a movie script...heh, no lie, avi movies 8^) Marque

hahahah I think that way sometimes. While staring deeply into a young lovelies eyes and saying "ah what beautiful eye textures you have, and what fine trans and reflection maps!" And your clothes, they move WITH you-good job on the conformimg and joint parameters. Say, any touch up work on your face textures?" Just before she turns on her inverse kinematics, implements her walk designer and animates off. Ok so that has NOT happened-but it COULD! :-) Ah well, off to work on my belly morphs a bit:-) Eric "SirMorphalot" Walters-hey I think I gotta a nickname!

I had kind of the opposite moment last year in Vegas... I saw a poster for one of the shows that I was CERTAIN had been done in poser - the characters looked so smoothed, and awkward... Then I saw a commercial for the show, and realized that it was just the costumes they wear; the image on the ad was a PHOTOGRAPH. They looked less real than about a third of the Poser images I see here...

chill guys this is a very normal thing. i started doing the same thing when i started taking architecture and now i do it with poser give it a year or two and you can file in your R.A.M. along with all the other usless knowlegde we all seem to pick up from time to time. don't doubt you will still do it, it just won't be as obvious. lol

lol I told a girl the other day she has just the lips I've been looking for...er...I'm a female...lol The look on her face! I explained myself and she now wants me to do a model of her. I do it all the time too and sometimes it gets a little embarassing, but most people are pretty cooperative and will even sit for a drawing if they have time. 8^) Marque

I've been getting my kids (10 and 6 year old boys) to let me stare deep into their eyes so I can try to figure out the highlights and incredible depth in the human eye. I keep catching myself wondering if I could get some generic person with attractive hair to let me scan it to use as a tex map. Yep, it's definitely yet another addictive thing in my life, but it is getting me to pay attention to people a little more. GrayMare
