hoag's site (vanishingpoint.biz) and theforce.net. I don't actually know if the UTC (see attached link) will convert P3 or P4 textures.I asked for a p4 to Mil UTC plugin and Dark Whisper told me there wasn't enough interest to make worth the time it required to make. Get enough people interested you might get one done. I convert from p4 to the mil 1 characters then run it through UTC for mil 2&3 characters. A bit of work but doable.
Thanks Bizarro, I'll try that.
I just downloaded a few of Muskateer's textures and I don't know how to use them. From the instructions on the download page I thought I was supposed to make a skin by laying the textures over a body texture in a graphics application, but after looking at the images I think I'm supposed to attach them in the P6 material room as secondary nodes or something.
Anyone feel like holding my hand through this? I'm confused.
most of artemis's costumes are mapped to mil figures ie victoria, mike's textures. first use a program like ps to convert the pngs to jpg's .once this is done load the figure and add the textures to the nodes, muskateer graphics has a tutorial to walk you through the steps in poser easier than i can. it has worked in daz as wellhope this helps a little.
Lee, that tutorial doesn't really help. My dilemma is how do I fill the parts of the material groups not covered by the costume with flesh texture? When I apply the texture to, say, SkinTorso, the parts of the costume tex not covered in costume show up white, not as flesh. It seems like I need to use the transmaps but I don't know how.
the file should have a transparency image(it's in black and white)and a regular color image.and i think one with the file ending in bmp. first check if the color one has the file name .jpg. if not you'll need to open it in a program like photoshop.then convert it to a .jpg.then open poser ,set up your figure ie m3 etc, select the body part, add the jpg to your diffuse node.the bmp goes to your bump strength, the trans goes to the opacity node.the files are set to fit m3 or v3 for example a character with a mask say the flash select the head and apply the texture.
hope this helps some.if this is too confusing contact aremis(animotions) or aremis2000 as he is known here . he is more than willing to help and an all around cool guy.

We have a ton of Star Wars stuff make specifically for use in Poser over at [Vanishing Point](http://www.vanishingpoint.biz/freestuff.asp?ClassificationID=1): all free, no membership required, and no need to fool around with importing and scaling. :) As for getting community support for a Mill to P4 texture-converter: I don't think there's enough support to make it worth the developer's time. Yes, the P4 figures are included in P7, but how many people still use those figures? You may be better off convincing the Animotions people to upgrade their characters for use with V3, M3, or V4.

I've only opened a couple so far but they've all been jpg or png.

No, thanks, I get it now. I think my problem was I checked out the textures first in my default image browser, IrfanView, which doesn't display layers properly. So, the transparent parts were showing up as solid colors, and when I copy-pasted the image into PSP for some reason the transparency errors transferred over. So, I got all confused as to what I was supposed to do, when all I had to do is open the images directly in PSP - the transparencies were fine and I just placed the texture over a skin texture, flattened, and voila!

Sounds good, I'll have to check it out. Thanks.

Yeah, that does make the best sense. Those outfits would look soooo much better on mil figs than they do on the P4 figs.
My next question is, can anyone familiar with PSP tell me how I can paste a these textures into my skin texture images and have the layer or selection properly aligned by default? I'm resizing the costume textures to the skin texture size, and I've tried pasting the costume into the skin text image as layer and as selection, but either way they don't line up right and then I have to eyeball them into place. I'd rather have them automatically line up, obviously.

I recently raided animotions for the superhero stuff and I was wondering if there's a straightforward, consistent way to convert these textures to the millennium figures.
Different topic, is there a place like animotions only full of star wars stuff that I don't know about?
