Subject: Clothes interchangable

Are clothing for V3, A3 and girl interchangable. IE will a v3 clothing fit on A3 and so on?

Clothing items are almost always for a specific figure. There are some items out there that include variations for different figures but this is usually not the case.

MarkDC (look for it here at RO) has a program that can converte between many figures... I never used it but looks great.

Depending on the pose, you can quite happly interchange most clothing just by scaling it. (dont use the "Fit To" else it could end up in a very strange position) Its a bit fiddely but using x,y,and,z you can dress your figure in almost anything. I've even dressed the DAZ Mil Dragon in V3's underware! (She was none to pleased about her Knicker elastic being stretched to the limit!!!) LOL :)

If it ain't free, I can't afford it.

Shotgun is right.....most unimesh figures have interchangable textures but not clothing. You will have to adjust them.

Or get PhilC's wonderful Wardrobe Wizard.  Haven't been able to purchase it yet....darned real world keeps snarking up all my money...but I participated in some of the early beta tests and it's a lovely bit of coding and work.

But this is the DAZ|Studio forum, and Wardrobe Wizard is Poser only.

My apologies, RHasltine, I thought that WW was cross-platform.  I'll be sure to double-check before answering the next time.
