Dina is a 3rd party poser figure. Did you ever have her on your machine?

Yeah  She is a figure available at Renderotica and while she bends ok she is hard to make look good and there really was not much support for her

I believe that one was based on dina marie vannoni, a "fitness model" of the 90s and early 00s. can't provide links, as "fitness models" (girls who appear in muscle mags) almost always do porno shots as well.

As I'd never heard of her I did a Google picture search on Dina Marie Vannoni...considering your somewhat blanket assumption I was surprised not to find any porno pictures of her...so I guess not all fitness models are into porn!

 she was available as a download on one of the 'Brit' mags a coupla years ago. (Computer Art, 3d World, or Digit, I don't remember which). She came with some clothes and poses. She was a little on the top-heavy side (what model isn't?..;), but was a help when I didn't have a lot of extra models to use.

Yes indeed, she came on a magazine-CDROM bundle.  She was my first female figure outside of the default ones supplied with Poser (those days, I only had Poser Artist = Poser 4.0.3)

Thats a very broad statement and not true There are a lot of "fitness models" who do  nude modeling but there are very few who actually do full blown porn. If someone thinks nudity is porn than welcome to Renderosity one of the largest porn sites on the internet.

I liked her for the fact she looked like no other model. Some things about her were annoying, but then....some things about me are annoying.   8^P

yep, squid. that's why this site is so popular with 12-18-yr-old boys. it's one of the best places to see giant nude boobs (porn). the word has no negative connotations for me, as porn is almost all I have ever done. b-t-k porn may have negative conotations, but vannoni never did any of that to my knowledge, and I've seen hundreds of porno shots of her. the one thing I feel uncomfortable about fitness models is not whether they do porn, but whether they have fake breasts (implants) or use steroids (testosterone, "the clear", androstenedione, et al.). those things can cause some very serious side effects, ranging from mood swings to dispruptions of the reproductive cycle, to grotesque deformities of the bone structure and secondary sexual characteristics.

Personally, I don't see 'nude boobs' as porn - to me classing them as such seems kinda narrow-minded. In effect your statement means that every woman is thus classified a porn star by virtue of the fact she has breasts, which is clearly nonsense. Your assertion also condemns thousands of years of art ( from, for example, classical Greek sculpture to, say, Impressionist nudes ) to being porn, which was clearly not the intention of the artists creating their work and probably says more for your attitude towards the naked human form.

Course when she came out everyone was really bashing V3 as teh worst possible character Daz had ever created.

Dina was thought of as a possible replacement, which might have worked... Except you think V3 has too few morphs without the INJ packages... Dina was/is worse. So everyone jumped on the V3 bandwagon and morphed her into 30K different forms...

Dina, well Dina got a few attempts, and a couple actually looked great. But no one was interested, even the folks that put her out all most immediately dropped her as a project.

No clothes, no Morphs, no nothing. She just sort faded away.

And then that Clothing Wizard guy included her in his clothing converter... Wow... now all 6Gig of my V3 clothes can fit Dina...

Hmmm.. with the purchase of V4, I can convert all V3's clothes to Dina, and drop V3 like the overcooked macaroni noodle she is :)

Both Dina and Natalia by Dacort were excellent meshes that got bulldozed in the Great DAZ Tsunami. Wardrobe Wizard has been breathing some life back into the distaff meshes, which is a good thing....
